Actually the hop-out I mentioned had to do with ignition timing. The 89cc
chamber should work with the correct cam. If I recall the smallest chamber used
on the 455 was 87cc's. Also, check the exhaust valve size; the #46 GTO head
came with the smaller 1.66 valve. Depending on what the car will be used for
and cam selection, the bigger 1.77 valve may not be needed. A 1.66 exhaust
valve provides a little higher velocity [and more scavenging] at low rpm,
[typical application was larger model cars].
