I've had the repro original-like spring clips on mine for a few years now and of course, I had the originals for a few years back in the 60's-70's. The only issue I noticed is that they are that they are more fragile than the bolt type. I use channellock pliars adjusted to provide a "square" pinch to avoid breaking off the tabs. Since I disconnect the battery after each run, I installed a quick connect/disconnect to reduce the messing with the spring clip(s). I only take the connect/disconnect off for a couple major shows each year. HI All... Was looking though the Classic Industries catalogue and came across their original style battery cables. Has anyone tried these? With the spring clamp? Any issues of them not holding to the posts? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Submissions to Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Unsubscribe from Firebird-L: <[email protected]> Help: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/firebird/Firebird-L.html> Classifieds: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/ubb/> Owner Pictures: <http://FirstGenFirebird.org/show/>
