First Generation Firebird-L Mailing List ......................................................................... Any temperature problem I have is an air flow issue with underhood header-heat at idle on a hot Florida day, but it is controllable. I run both mechanical and electrical fans. A booster fan I turn on manually when needed in front of the radiator. Two fans on the back of the radiator come on automatically as needed. The fan is 69 style non clutch which I prefer. Not too concerned with that right now.
The fan is already positioned half way in and half way out of a modified shroud. I just want to go a stock looking shroud that works in other 69 Firebirds with mid 70s engines. Thanks for responding.
