Hi,
1. I install the new version.
2. I insert the definishens of provider in machine.config of the framework
2.0
3. I change the %PATH% of FirebirdDDEXProvider.reg to
C:\programme\firebirdclient (there I installed the provider)
4. Finally I registered the reg-file.
But if I start the VS 2005 and use the server explorer > Add Connection >
there is an unexpected error:
Package Load Failure
Package 'Firebird Data Package' has failed to load properly (
GUID = {8D9358BA-CCC9-4169-9FD6-A52B8AEE2D50} ). Please contact package
vendor for assistance.
Application restart is recommended, due to possible environment
corruption. Would you like to disable loading this package in the future?
You may use 'devenv
/resetskippkgs' to re-enable package loading.
What ist wrong?
