I also developed applications using delphi since 2003 year and now i am
developing applications using ADO.NET. I found that most of ideas implemented
in ADO.NET are awful comparing to delphi components (especially comparing to
FIBPlus). But it's only MY OPINION.
So? in our applications we decide do not to use all classes above DataReader
(DataSet, DataAdapter, DataView, ets.). We wrote own library, similar to
Hibernate, and use it in our projects.
So i can advise you:
1) Write you own class-library
2) Try to use Delphi.NET. There are a version IBX.NET available.
