What's interesting, though, is that I still got the error with FbDbType set to Text as well. Shouldn't that have worked, even with the size specified?
Huummmmmm yes !! ... can you do a try with latest v2.0 CVS sources ?? There are a change from some days ago that changes the way the FbParameter class infers the DataType of the parameter and that may have solved that problem.
