You don't need to give the size for the parameters unless you have char/varchar parameters and anyway it's not mandatory( when executing a command with char/varchar parameters if one of them have no size the provider will do a call to the server to describe the command parameters, when using decimal/numeric parameters this is done always if i remember well hehehe )
