Thank you for the reply.

I will spent 1 more night on this to find out how to solve my little
dilemma.

The idea behind my method of madness is firstly less code as the
SqlMembershipProvider provide me with methods of maintaining a user in a
local DB for a smart client that I have written. But I have over 10 years
experience in shipping data across the Internet and I am fully aware of the
deployment issues of larger foot printed DBs like SQLExpress and Access.
Hence why I'm looking at FDB to solve 1 huge issue with deployment and the
need to administer SQLExpress or Access.

So in short sure I can do without this and provide a library to handle the
domain principles roles etc, but as I do this in my spare time I don’t
particular like coding especially when the wheel so to speak has been
invented by the good guys at Microsoft.

I will update a post here tomorrow with my findings, unfortunately I have to
attend to my "Day-Job" now.

Regards
Sarel
