Anyway, I've now rebuilt the code and run all of the unit tests. All tests
pass. I then loaded my test program which displays a DBGrid for a table.
This also works from the Delphi 2006 IDE. So, there is something different
between my simple test code and your code. Could you send a small Delphi
project to me that fails with the problem you identified below? From
there, I will try to identify the problem.

First, its not necessary to open a new project. The problem is when you go to the Data Explore Tab and try to explore the Tables of the firebird bbdd. When you open the connection you see three subelements:; Tables, Views and Procedures. If I open the Tables element I get the error.
Second, I try to make the simplest project using a BdpConnection, a BdbDataAdapter and a DataSet and when I try to configure the bdpDataAdapter I get the same error.
Can you send me / explain me your test case to see If i get the error with it?
