I checked the gds32.dll in system32. It's property shows that its make is Firebird with the version of 6.3.1.12810. Judging from the file date, it was replaced recently. Correct me if I am wrong, but I doubt Firebird .Net data provider uses gds32.dll or fbclient.exe. I forgot to mention, in the origial post, the version of Firebird. It is 2.0.1.12810.
