Hi! Only now i see that it is impossible to connect to FB2 database with UTF8, KOI8-R or KOI8-U charsets. And i looked at FirebirdSql.Data.Common and saw that there are no support for KOI8-R and KOI8-U :-(
P.S. Maybe it will be nice to have a new parameter in connection string, something like "server version". With this parameter it will be possible: 1) determine which protocol implementation to use (before 2.1 or after 2.1) 2) determine if character set in connection string correct or not (for example it will be possible to prevent using of UTF8 with FB 1.5) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
