for firebird a bit back had been meaning to ask about it...
thank you for your reply.. i use mysql allot i wrote a nice member routines in
php all ready just wanted to try out the firebird ones if i could..but cant no
biggy...
i am trying to make a cd-rom collection for a bv.net program and thats why im
useing embedded firebird(and how i found it too). but its been slow going..now
that vistas come out maybe i can find my cd strings i want..and it will work a
bit better and i can find the time too...again as im rambling now thanks for
the reply..

It is support for the ASP.NET Member Services, which is a mechanism to
control member login/registration and access to an ASP.NET website.
Unless you are using a .net php environment, you probably won't be able
to take advantage of this without writing your own mechanism to emulate
the ASP.NET member services interfaces.
I am unsure if there are examples of Firebird's specific use, but if
you read about Member services on msdn.microsoft.com you will probably
find that it works the same way, just you will need to add references
to the Firebird assemblies that provide the implementation details.
