For every client tcp connection, a bunch of transactions are performed consecutively to insert different types of data into different tables. A db connection is opened and closed for each transaction. There is no explicit pause between transactions, so I guess the time between transactions can be as small as 10 ms. It takes 10ms ~ 500ms to finish one transaction.
Clients report to server every 10 minutes. Since clients are started randomly, on server side there is no pattern of client connections. (Do I answer your question?)
