Hi all!
I'm using TransactionScope and having trouble getting it to work with the
firebird provider (v. 2.0.1.0). I saw in one of the forum postings that I
have to set Enlist=true in my connection string but no rollback happends
when the transaction goes to DTC (Distributed Transaction Coordinator) and
an exception occur, only in situations where the transaction run on just one
Firebird database. I do get a notification in my consol app. that states:
"Rollback notification received". In my test environment (my console app) I
have set up an SQL Server 2000 and a Firebird 1.5. The two databases runs on
two different servers. Can anyone please tell me if the firebird provider
(v. 2.0.1.0) support IPromotableSinglePhaseNotification or which one that
does or help me with adding support for it in the firebird provider? (this
time I'll be patient lol)
