Hello *,
Today I've been working on issue DNET-167
[http://tracker.firebirdsql.org/browse/DNET-167] and discovered
different behavior from SqlClient, which isn't easy to fix without
chance to break backward compatibility. The current implementation of
GetOrdinal method is taking into account current culture, and the
SqlClient is not.
For most cases this change will not break nothing (definetely) if you
have your database columns in us-ascii. Also national characters where
upper/lower function of this char isn't depending on some culture
behavior (like the turkish "i") - for example czech characters will
not be affected with this change.
Has anybody here problem with this?
