Hi,
we are trying to use Classic Server (Firebird-2.1.2.18118_0_Win32) instead of
superserver
in order to distribute load on multiple processors.
But there is a problem with number of connections to the (one) database.
I mean simultaneous connections (connected one by one, no high load).
At some number of connections no new connections are successful.
We have tried FB Server at several computers (Win XP, Windows Server 2003).
The problem occurs at any of them.
But at different computers different numbers of connections are successful.
Somewhere it is e.g. 44, elsewhere more than 100 successful connections.
It apears in client application made in Borland Delphi 7 via SQL Direct
components
or Visual Studio 2008 C# .net 3.5, Firebird Data Provider 2.5 - the same.
We receive messages like:
connection rejected by remote interface
firebird.log:
LAKNB (Client) Mon Jun 01 15:12:22 2009
INET/inet_error: read errno = 10054
or:
Unable to complete network request to host ...
Error reading data from the connection.
Can anyone help us? Thanx.
