Hi again
I managed to download a dll
(http://downloads.sourceforge.net/firebird/FirebirdClient-2.0.1-Compact-Bin.zip)
though I'm not sure this is the correct one. I now have a little application
on my mobile PC that tries to connect to a database on my desktop. It is
connected via a USB cable and I am running VS 2008. The mobile PC is running
Windows 5.0. I hard-code the connection string and have tried various
different combinations but I always get the same error code back (335544721 -
Unable to complete network connection)
Could anyone please provide some assistance (I am probably doing something very
silly!!!)

Hi there
I am new to Firebird (and so please excuse my ignorance) and am trying to find
a compact framework client that will work with Firebird 2.1 and .net 2.0. In
SourceForge, I can only see a version for 1.72 (.net 1.1) and for Firebird 2.5.
Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can download the correct dll
