I have a web application that I have completed and I am now trying to deploy
it onto a Windows 7 machine. IIS is setup and ready but when I try to access
the web site I get this message: "Unable to find the requested .Net
Framework Data Provider. It may not be installed." The Error Source section
shows the code where I first attempt to access the Firebird Database. The
app works fine on my machine where I have installed the .Net provider and
the DDEX provider for Visual Studio 2010 but I cannot find any deployment
instructions. :( There is no Visual Studio installed on this machine, and
no gacutil.exe. I installed the the .Net Provider and copied the
FirebirdSQL.Data.FirebirdClient.dll to my web app's bin directory and
updated the Web.config with the new location of the database. What do I need
to do to get this working? Using 2.6.5 .net provider with entity framework
and Firebird 2.5 64bit and Windows 7.

Thanks,

Michael
