I haven't tried VS 2012 yet, but I had some luck integrating the DDEX provider into VS 2010 Express, so I would try to compile it from source, replacing the requirements pointing to previous versions (probably Microsoft.Data.ConnectionUI and Microsoft.VisualStudio.Data) with the ones from your Visual Studio 2012 installation directory.
