Use the firebird-tools list for questions like this. >but is there a data entry form generator application i can use for FireBird? There are tools that enable you to define input forms, using parameterised queries, provided of course that you speak SQL. >Access has its forms. How about FireBird? Access is a proprietary desktop filing system built for Windows. Firebird is a database management system built for just about everything, with an application programming interface (API). It doesn't come with a graphical user interface for any client platform. Note, I said "define", not "design". I use the "Query Forms" tool of the free IB_SQL utility for ad hoc queries I want to store and repeat. (www.ibobjects.com). If I want something pretty and end-user-friendly, I write an application in Delphi using IBObjects. Restart your thread in firebird-tools if you want to proceed with this search. Most of the toolmakers have free or trial versions available. ^ heLen ^
