It seems that since upgrading our server (and application) from Firebird 1.0 to 2.5, we are getting more frequent random disconnects from client connections. I was wondering is there is something that Firebird 2.5 does that could cause this, or a configuration setting that should be changed to prevent it.
These are TCP/IP connections. Our application uses IBObjects to talk to Firebird. I have personally seen it happen only once myself, but I am on a local LAN with the server. The user that has been complaining on it connects to the database via an Internet connection, and she seems to lose connection to the database on average about 3 times per day, which she says didn't used to happen that often before (previously maybe once every few days). Any ideas? -Joe
