I have, Milan, although the environment and hardware conditions are different.
Every time I have tried to install our x686 RPMs on 32-bit Mandriva on an AMD
Athlon 64 box I get a stop message from RPM that states "incompatible
hardware", without any detail. The tarball installs work fine though, so it
seems to be an RPM thing. If it's a bug in RPM, it has been around for quite a
while, i.e., since v.2.1 was first released.

If the OP was attempting an RPM install, maybe he needs to go the other route?
