[firebird-support] sweep is running for more than 7 days now :(

Hello,

Is it normal that the gfix -sweep run for more than 7 days ? our database is 
pretty big (+300 Go) but 7 days it is not too much ?
Also, during this sweep, is it "safe" to kill the gfix or better to shunt down 
the Firebird service of the fb_inet_server.exe ?
