I find that hard to believe, as 32 bit components can't talk to 64 bit DLLs. Are you sure you aren't mixing up the odbcad32.exe in SysWOW64 (which is the 32 bit version!) with the odbcad32.exe in System32 (which is the 64 bit version!)? Mark
