You have to use a ' (single quote) instead of " (double quote) for string
literals. So:
INSERT INTO residents (First, Last, Bldg, Unit, cbRelease, Email, lbOwnRent)
VALUES('Theo','Jones','6105','2101','Yes','jones@','Own')
