Hi All, I tried your suggestions and reinstalled with special attention to see if the gds32.dll was created. Then I tried to open and import a database using the MS Access. I got the message saying that the it doesn't support HTML pages. Any idea what is this? I created a database and tried to import data, it said ODBC call failed. Unavailable database. Where as I was specifying the path to the database.
Any ideas. Thanks for all the help from yesterday. regards, Himanshu Bahirat --- In [email protected], Matthias Hanft <mh@...> wrote: > > Eduardo A wrote: > > > > So, consider uninstalling and reinstalling paying attention to the check > > boxes that tell the > > install program what to do with gds32.dll. > > IMHO looking for a file called "fbclient.dll" somewhere on your hard > disk and copying it as "gds32.dll" to C:\Windows\System32 should be > sufficient (C:\Windows\SysWOW64 on 64-bit Windows). > > "gds32.dll" is used by Delphi programs (at least, Delphi 7). > > -Matt >
