I have not been able to get a setup where I can supply a user name and password. I expect that maybe defining ISC_USER and ISC_PASSWORD before I run isql might work..... Yes indeed, that does work! But there has to be a way to pass username and password, after all, you wouldn't necessarily want to define those ever so slightly insecure variables just to use a copy command? I wouldn't!
