That's an odd request. It could reflect one of two things: a desire to maintain db_key stability or a misunderstanding of garbage collection. The first is possible. The second is likely. There is a TPB parameter which gbak uses that tells the current transaction not to participate in garbage collection, but that's probably not what you want. Before I repeat my explanation of the purpose and implementation of garbage collection, why don't you explain what you're trying to do.
