Greetings All, We are installing a new Windows 2012 R2 64 bit server at the office and eventually will restore a Firebird 1.5.3 Database to 2.5.4
On one windows 7 64 bit client I will install the 2.5.4 firebird client. A few questions: 1) Do I need to uninstall the 1.5.3 client first? 2) After the 2.5.4 client is install and I’m able to access the new 2012 server successfully, can this same firebird client be used to connect to the old firebird 1.5.3 database on the 2003 windows server?
