[firebird-support] FB3 - max length of varchar fields and slow queries with blobs

Hello @all,

I thought FB3 should remove the limitation to max. length of for varchars
(32765 bytes). I tried today to create a longer varchar field without luck.
Is the limitation still active?

I don’t use blobs because queries using blobs have been a lot slower than
queries without blobs. Is this still the case in FB3?
