Hi, In 2014 I was at the FB conference in Prague. If I remember correctly, Ann Harrison told the audience that there are no advantages when using SMALLINT or INT versus BIGINT. But I don't remember the reason. Was it the block size of modern architecture? Maybe Ann can make it clear again? Or someone else. Would be great.
