Thanks for the detailed Response. These queries are getting fired on its own even when there is no action taken in the system at a particular time interval. Not only that, these queries are getting fired even at the time when there are only select queries and no updates or insert are happening...
With my current usage, where the client is running in one geography and DB is in other, multiple calls of this query is creating a bottleneck when it comes to performance.
