I can confirmed that for developer with only 1 connection to Firebird Server, notebook with Intel's CPU could have same or slightly less performance than dekstop CPU with AMD's.
The key is the IPC. Since Intel, in the same rank, always has higher IPC than AMD, it will runs faster for Firebird. Regards Anto.
