I’m using the extract-function. What do you use?

 

select extract(weekday from current_date) from rdb$database – result is 5.

Im using now the extract function an there is 0 = Sunday, 1 = Monday I think.

 

 

It’s Friday here today:

select f_dayofweek(current_timestamp) from rdb$database

 

returns 6
