When I copy a firebird database, from Windows to the Linux file system through Windows. Deactivate Linux firebird 2.5 first then replace the database. Reactivate the database on Linux. Then start a Windows program that communicates with the database from an IP address. The software developer has somehow put a hook in the software. That if the path has changed the database needs to be reset, as in re-registered. The big frustration I'm having is the file I'm copying is not corrupt. But when I'm starting it from the Linux server. It corrupt. This is according to the support purson from delfin. Originally the firebird database was working perfectly on the Linux computer. There is something in there software to me that has changed that somehow won't see the Database correctly. Really hope someone could halp clarify why the database goes from not corrupt from Windows to corrupt on Linux. Kind Regards Shane
