The error is in the JS that gets evaluated at the end of the
compileDom() method.

The "node" object gets generated in compileDOM(). I cannot easily
isolate the code. I guess this is a good time to dive into the magic
compileDOM() logic and write some more domplate docs.

Just wanted to check first in case it was something obvious.
