The latest alpha version of Firebug is 1.4a1.
The latest beta version of Firebug is 1.3b2.
The latest stable version of Firebug is 1.2.1.

Firebug can be disabled four ways:
 1) Firefox > Tools > Addons
 2) UI not up.
 3) Status bar > rightclick > suspend (We'd say "suspended")
 4) Console/Script/Net panel mini tabs disable

Which is it?
