Some of these cases can be fixed, I keep trying. The problem is that errors come into firebug by URL, not by window or tab. So I look through the tabs you are debugging for a match to the URL of the error. What if you have two tabs with Firebug using the same file? What if no tab seems to match? What if I miss a source URL? Multiply that by the convolutions of code I wrote trying to reverse engineer the error messages content. Well then the errors don't come to the right place.
Anyway I think 1.4 has better code for errors, but I say that for every version. jjb On Nov 18, 10:41 am, Jacques <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Using Firebug 1.2.1 with Firefox 3.0.4 on Mac OSX 10.5.5 > > I tend to keep two different browser windows open, each with a bunch > of tabs.
