Perhaps the time is taken by compiling the javascript and running the
top-level code for the file.  You can test this easily by adding some
code to the top level function that takes a lot of time and see if you
can make the gap large that way.  You might affect the gap by changing
the Script limiter, set it to 'static' on Script panel next to file
names.

We're discussing putting stuff like compile/run time on the net bar
and changing the title of the panel to "Honza" (that's Czech for
"Timeline" ;-).
