I have the following code in a page (part):

Firebug gives an incorrect error on the line where it says :
Observation ......
It tells me I have to add an </BR> tag, which is wrong (it does not
even exists)
The more : if i translate the "é" into the text (all generated by php)
with normal
php functions, it generates "é" in place of "é". Then
firebug tells me
that it's an unknow entity (which is wrong too).
Just to be complete, the page definition :

So, is firebug wrong, or what am I doing wrong ?
