I've also noticed that hotmail.com messes up big time with 1.4 alpha when you select an email a hover box appears next to your mouse pointer when you mouse away. This is constantlly being recreated and the old ones are never removed so you end up with lots of boxes with the text "1 Message" everywhere your mouse moves these eventually peg the CPU to 100% and eat RAM. If you disable firebug it's fine; these boxes never appear.
