I am currently working on a Firebug extension similar to the Web
Developer Toolbar that will have a lot of options like Disable Cache,
Disable Javascript etc. It will be customizable because people
normally only use a few options from the toolbar. I think it will be
better to have all these dev tools inside of Firebug ... I might make
it a modular extension so that it is not so bulky.

I take it that you would not want to disable all Javascript ... I am
not certain that it is possible to disable just 1 script but it would
definitely be something worth looking at.
