This isn't a Firebug issue per se, however I'm trying to analyse some Firebug results and hoping someone here can help.
My blog (hosted Wordpress) at jasonnaylor.com takes a LONG time to load each page. The page visually appears to load pretty reasonably, but there's a huge lag and the image 'refreshes'. I've taken a screenshot of the 'Net' console and posted it here: http://jasonnaylor.com/Magical%20Snap%20-%202009.02.27%2009.25%20-%20001.png What I can't understand is the huge delay for the 'DOMContentLoaded' (event), which seems to be pushing out the loading of the page. I don't understand what this actually is. (PS. This *could* very well be an issue with the wp-grain Wordpress theme I'm using, but I'm struggling to get any assistance from those forums. I've seen other implementations of this theme that seem to load without problem, i.e. http://www.defx.de/. Can anyone explain the 'DOMContentLoaded' (event) and why there might be a huge delay before that seems to complete?
