This isn't a Firebug issue per se, but I'm hoping someone with knowledge can analyse my Firebug results and provide assistance.
My blog (hosted Wordpress) at jasonnaylor.com/blog takes quite a while to load. I can't understand why the page visibly appears to load, then after quite some delay the image will 'refresh'. I've taken a screenshot of the 'Net' component from Firebug: http://jasonnaylor.com/Magical Snap - 2009.02.27 10.07 - 002.png Ignoring the 5s delay in the initial GET request, it appears to be the 'DOMContentLoaded' (event) that in this case is pushing out the loading of the page to almost 9s. Can anyone explain what this means and understand the huge delay between the last of the loaded elements and the completion of the DOMContentLoaded? (I'm *tempted* to lay the blame at the Wordpress theme I'm using: "wp- grain", but I'm struggling to get much help at that forum, and I've seen this implemented without this lag on other sites, i.e. http://www.defx.de/) Jason N --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
