A friend called me tonight asking why her newly designed site wasn't working. I had recently installed Firebug, and this seemed like the ideal opportunity to try it out. I played with it for a few minutes and very quickly was able to identify several of her problems. I modified several of the CSS definitions and was about to email her the updated css file when I discovered that you apparently can't save the changes you made to a file or even see the entire updated CSS file so you could copy and paste. That one omission (if it really is one, perhaps I'm just missing something?) takes Firebug from an incredibly useful HTML and CSS editor/debugger to a marginally useful CSS debugger. Adding such a feature would be a VERY big improvement.
