The Firebug FAQ spells out the compatibility quite plainly: # Firebug 1.0 is incompatible with Firefox 3.0. Firebug 1.1 does not work completely. # Firebug 1.2 works on Firefox 3. # Firebug 1.3 works with Firefox 3.0 # Firebug 1.4 works with Firefox 3.1 # Firebug 1.5 will target Firefox 3.2.
I did not see this compatibility chart until after I was afflicted with constant Firefox crashes running Firebug 1.3.3 in FF 3.1b3. Upgrading Firebug to 1.4.0a9 seems to have fixed the browser crashes. But it seems to me that Firebug should restrict its installation compatibility, so that you simply can't install the wrong version. At least, if the FAQ's compatibility chart is true... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Firebug" group.
