I come to give the situation.
The problem persist.
What I do:
1° I have Upgraded my mother board, screen card and sound card.
2° I have disabled my onboard sound (AC47) and onboard network.
3° I have reinstall Windows XP SP2 and install the SP 3.
4° Giga by Giga, I reduce the totallity of RAM till the situation
before buying the new barette of RAM.
5° As you say, I tested the RAM with TESTMEM (without mistake)
6° I have downloaded from Intel, the documentation about the mother
board. Following the pdf, I have 2x 2slots to put the RAM.
Now, How to install corectly the RAM
slot A 2 x 512
B 2 x 1024 or vice versa or ?????
Now, the status of my computer is the same as before.
Unable to:
1° Install any software (Office, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, ...). The
setup.exe stay in the task manager and doesn't appear on the screen.
2° When I install firebug, I have the same problem. For using Firefox,
I must open it in safe mode.
Now !... I don't known !
My config:
Mother board: Intel La Crosse D865GLC
Old RAM: 2x 512 Mo PC3200 DDR SDRAM (3.0-3-3-8 @ 200
MHz)
New RAM: 3x 1024 Mo PC3200 DDR SDRAM (3.0 3-4-4-8 @ 200
MHz)
OS: Windows XP SP3
DirectX 9.0c
Video card: ATI Radeon HD 3650 AGP (512 Mo)
Sound card: Creative Audigy 2 (SB0240) Sound Card
