Using Google Maps means that intermittently (but over 90% of the time), doing a Google Maps search fails to complete, and corrupts my page contents (Javascript variables that were there before mysteriously disappear). This appears to be different behaviour from previous posts about Google Maps, which merely refer to a long delay.
The page is fine, as verifiable by disabling Firebug, and also by using it on Safari. I'm on a Mac Pro and OS X 10.5.6, Firefox 3.0.7 I've tried the recommended fix on Google's help page (setting permissions.default.image from 1 to 0), but this doesn't have any effect.
