Firebug 1.4a18 is available. In this version you will see the biggest changes to Firebug ever. Lots of new stuff, including Curtis Bartley's Tabs On Tops, Han Hillen's Accessibility and Key Rebinding, Kevin Decker's multi panel search, and Jan 'Honza' Odvarko's continually amazing Net panel.
Next to the Firebug Icon menu is two new icons, one for inspect and one for Javascript. We hope to find new images for these icons. Please notice: there is NO AUTO UPDATE from ~1.4a16 or so on: you will need to reinstall if you have these versions (we did not notice a syntax error in the install.rdf which allowed install but not update). I think the external window feature of Firebug is working again 1.4a18. A small number of our tests are not passing but we think these are problems in our testing. With so many changes there will some issues, but 1.4 features are now essentially complete. I want to take pass a tweeking the activation to see if I can get pages opened from Firebugged pages to be Firebugged.
