I'm using Firefox 3.0.8 and I see it. (just tried with Fbug 1.4a20). I
might try setting up a page of my to test...

On my own pages, images start turning black, sometimes the whole page,
and often the Firefox loading indicator turns black as well all while
Fx stops responding.

When I try with a new profile, and I have the issue with multiple tabs
open, then try to close Firefox, the dialog that asks if I really want
to quit with multiple tabs open shows up but with nothing in it. I
have to use the task manager to kill firefox off at that point. Worth
starting a new profile and giving it a try. I'm curious why parts of
Firefox still respond (like showing the empty dialog), while almost
everything else dies.
